Not up for it
Sorry, I haven't felt up to writing this week. I have a doctor's appointment at 9:15am tomorrow so hopefully, I will have some exciting news then. The baby will definitely recognize John Mayer's voice, I have been listening to him a lot at work.

World's Worst Craving (only because I can't find them)
Forget the pickles & ice cream - I want a Hawaiian Shaved Ice! I am very close to buying this or something similar, I really just want a variety of flavors :)

Eyelashes
I think I felt our baby move for the first time last night! Nick & I were laying on the couch watching a movie & I started to feel this tiny bit of flutter in my stomach. Think when someone comes up to your face & flutters/bats their eyelashes on your skin or face - that is what it felt like that.
Amazing....then I got a little emotional thinking about in 6 months we would have a new little baby in our life. Love.

15 weeks in! 25 weeks to go!
Our baby is an orange! I really need to hear my baby's heartbeat, it feels like it has been forever. Nick and I are talking to the baby more :) It doesn't feel weird, but then again we are both kinda weirdos. Match made in heaven!
"So what keeps your baby busy all day? Mostly, your fetus is in rehearsals — practice, practice, practicing, and getting ready for that big debut. Babies practice breathing, sucking, and swallowing so that when they leave your comfy womb and move into your comfy house, they'll have the skills necessary to survive.
Fetal body movements continue to get practice this week, too. But because your baby weighs so little (a bit over two ounces), you won't feel the calisthenics going on inside your abdominal gym. But don't let that fool you. Your fetus is holding daily aerobics classes — kicking, curling toes, and moving those little arms and legs.
And with each passing week, your fetus is looking more and more like the baby you're picturing in your dreams. By now, the ears are positioned properly on the sides of the head (they used to be in the neck) and the eyes are moving from the side of the head to the front of the face — where they'll soon meet your loving gaze." whattoexpect.com

Baby books?
I need some baby books! Any great recommendations? I want us to start reading to our baby :) This is a week 15 tip & we will be 15 weeks in 2 days!
Any of these http://pregnancy.about.com/od/pregnancybooksvideos/tp/aa031703a.htm
Oh, and I becoming mildly obsessed with reading about how to make your baby smart, so any articles you see about that send my way!
"Talk to your baby. It's a great way to start the bonding process. If having an actual conversation seems odd to you, narrate your activities; read a book, magazine, or newspaper; or share your secret wishes for your child. This is great practice for after your baby's born. Talking to babies is one of the best ways to help them develop language skills." babycenter.com

Random thoughts
- Kids cereals are starting to lose their appeal
- Now that I am not sick & not craving kids cereals I don't feel pregnant anymore (everyone keeps saying that's a good thing)
- 8 more days until I hear my baby's heartbeat....can't wait
- My mom is keeping me well fed
- I want the prenatal vitamins w/ DHA, as long as they won't make me sick
- At 16 weeks I am suppose to start looking at daycares, breaks my heart to think of putting my 6 week old baby in the hands of stranger. Hopefully, we can find a reasonably priced, but great daycare.
- I am caring less & less about the appearance of my baby bump (let's see how I feel in a bikini though)
- Oh, but I still want lots of candy (soft, chewy kinds)

What I do every day?
Well, use to do :( We comprised a video of our Gain work from the last year & I am really proud of it. I now work on haircare brands.
Pretty sweet video if you ask me, but I may be bias.

14 Weeks - holla!
So, Nicholas played an evil April Fool's joke on me today (ask him about it)! Don't worry, nothing about our little baby beep.
OH! How I love all the little things our baby is doing this week!! It seriously gets me all teared up. Size of a lemon or your fist this week (read more below). Two more weeks til we go back to the doctor to check on our little baby! Then 4 weeks from that date we will find out that sex! I can't wait!
"Your adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine, and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys, and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over her body for warmth" thebump.com
"Your baby will start growing at a rapid rate. In fact this month alone your baby will be doubling in length and quadrupling in weight. Your baby's ears have moved from the neck to the sides of the head. Eyes have been gradually moving from the side of the head to the front of the face. The neck continues to get longer, and the chin no longer rests on the chest. Sexual development continues. It is even more obvious to tell a male baby from a female baby just by looking at the external genitalia. Your baby is the size of your fist measuring at about 4 inches (about 9cm) and weighing almost 1 oz (25g)." welcomebabyhome.com
