10 weeks and 4 days (give or take) until we meet her! I met with HR today to go over my transition plan, I may not have as many full days off as I like & unfortunately I can't carry over any of my PTO time over to the next year (totally stinks).
Life has been a little stressful lately, I need to find a way to relieve some of it. I know it's not good for our little one. She is the size of butternut squash - seriously, how good is butternut squash?
thebump.com's description is perfect for this week:
Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. (Have those kicks and jabs to the ribs tipped you off yet?) Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though -- as you’ve also probably noticed -- they don’t necessarily coincide with your own. Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments.
